Endwalker 6.3+ PLD Resources

PLD in Ultimates

Paladin received a major rework in Patch 6.3 on 10 Jan 2023. Please stay tuned for updates. This page is being updated whenever new information is determined. See changelog for a detailed list.

The v2 6.3 rotation is available with more information on this main rotation and the alternative loop (60s and 120s) rotations in the Intro & Rotations page.

The old Resources pre-6.3 can be found at the PLD Resource Archive, including fight guides for p5s-p8s and DSR.

Lv90: The Omega Protocol (TOP)

Phase 1 & Phase 2

Phase 1 and Phase 2 spreadsheet here - designed for 2.50 GCD

If you are using Hallowed Ground for Panto Lasers, you can prepull Rampart in P1 transition (as soon as beetle dies is fine). This will leave you with Rampart+Bulwark+Sheltron for Solar Ray, and Rampart+Sentinel+Sheltron for tether.

Phase 3

Keep everything on cd as strictly as possible after p2 to get max uses in p5 opener (FOF+REQ should be no later than after royal in p3 opener unless the group doesn't hold p2 at all). tincture may be used optimally during either opener or critical error cast.

Phase 4

2 HS FOF occurs naturally in some cases, depending on which gcd FOF+REQ are initially used on in p3 and how far into a gcd roll p3 is pushed, but can also be gainfully forced by dropping 1 atonement in p4 in some other cases.

P4 experimentation may be needed based on personal timings, but 2 HS FOF is almost always worth forcing in this phase, even if minor clipping is necessary, as long as atonement is not ghosted at the end of the phase.

Phase 5

P5 opener depends heavily on p2 and p3 push times, with the goal to get maximum FOF+REQ gcds before delta (use goring last). 1 or more atonements may be dropped, and heavy gcd clipping when FOF+REQ come off cd is often needed, but this will not cost a gcd usage.

P5 Post-Delta does NOT depend on earlier phase push times and can be planned entirely separately, based on personal skill and comfort levels with each segment

P5 Post-Delta spreadsheet here

Phase 6

Standard opener and rotation can work for this phase up to enrage, otherwise it should be planned for kill time (e.g. earlier opener, and/or hardcasting before last FOF to avoid killing mid-combo). tincture may be used optimally either after wc2 or leading up to enrage.

For standard openers, use lb3 after 4th gcd (after 1st FOF gcd) if applicable, but pld is lowest lb3 prio along with gnb due to having a timed personal buff and the strongest filler gcds.

Lv90: Dragonsong's Reprise (DSR)

2.50 GCD — Carrot Pudding (Patch 6.3)

Omit a Direct Hit meld on the weapon if you do not have it.

Lv80: The Epic of Alexander (TEA)

2.50 GCD — Baked Eggplant (Patch 6.4)

Note that many other viable gear combinations exist, depending on personal gear availability and preferred GCD speed. The Tank Gear Manager may be used to make your own gearing decisions based on your own needs.

Lv70: The Weapon's Refrain (UWU)

*Not up to date for 6.3, simply sync your i630 2.50 BiS with the i535 relic allocated into crit > det > ten for simplicity

Compatibility set for both The Unending Coil of Bahamut and The Weapon's Refrain in patch 6.1 using i535 relic (remove a total of 6 determination if using i515 relic instead). These relic weapons are the most important items for Ultimate BiS, but are not REQuired to simply clear the content.

2.40 GCD — Pumpkin Ratatouille (Patch 6.1) - Etro mirror
